Company Profile
The Company was established on 25.07.2000 and its shares were listed at
the ASE on 19th December 2001. During the fiscal year 2002, the Company
merged with ALPHA TRUST ORION Closed-End Fund by absorbing its shares.
During the fiscal year 2004, the Company absorbed ALPHA TRUST ASSET MANAGER
Closed-End Fund.
The Company is based in Athens, Greece, with its main offices located
at 21 Tatoiou srt, P.O. Code 145 61. The Company's Charter has a business
life of fifty years from its founding date and its corporate business,
according to Article 3 of the Incorporation Articles, is:
• The exclusive management of financial assets, according to
the provisions of the Law 1969/1991 on "Asset Management Companies and
Mutual Fund Management Companies".
• The Company may cooperate with and/or participate in any
related company with any form of participation according to the above-mentioned
objective.
Investment
Policy
The fund focuses on European equity and bond markets, with a major emphasis
in the Greek Capital markets, investing either directly in the stock of
listed securities or through mutual funds shares.
The fund's portfolio includes the "best ideas" of an
experienced team of investment managers and analysts with the aim of achieving
satisfactory absolute returns in the medium term.
There is no focus on specific sectors and the stock picking is the key
driver of the fund's performance.
Key criteria in investing in a company include quantitative and qualitative
fundamental factors as well as the quality of the management and their
ability to meet their targets and objectives.
Equity holdings are chosen regardless of their market capitalization but
quality is a serious consideration in the investment selection.
